Decent Humans Wish Others a “Happy New Year”, but Trump Bids Us Hate.

Updated on January 9, 2017

Trump hates us.

Trump won because of Putin who Trump is in debt to.

Trump lies to us incessantly and his lies about the Russian hack is just another example of this.

Who will Trump favor—Putin, or us?

Was Trump’s action about delaying the Republican’s plot to neuter the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) just a ploy to distract us from his ethical problems, particularly his conflicts of interests?

Trump has stacked his cabinets with appointees who will destroy us. This has the appearance of the foxes guarding the hen house.

People who voted for Trump now fear his repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

People are now being subjected to propaganda about how we will pay for the wall that Trump swore Mexico will pay for. Authoritarian tyrants like Putin constantly brainwash their citizens. Trump is simply following his benefactor’s model.

Trump is threatening to restructure the intelligence community. Trump is asking Congress to investigate the media. Why? Because these hallmarks of a democratic society disagreed with him regarding the Russian hack. Doesn’t Trump realize that isn’t acceptable or does he think this is a totalitarian regime?

Trump is ruining our democratic institutions and our country.

Trump Hates Us.

Trump has his hate list. Remember “Tricky Dick Nixon” had his “Enemies List”? Nixon’s term was horrendous for the US. Let’s pray that Trump’s term doesn’t also.

The article “In Trump’s New Year Note, Love and a Jab at ‘Enemies’” gives us Trump’s New Year tweet to us “Happy New Year to all,” Mr. Trump wrote, “including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don’t know what to do. Love!”

Trump’s cabinet is horrendous. If they follow through on their stances we all are in their crosshairs and could be destroyed. Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he will fight these nominations because they will hurt us.

The article “Chuck Schumer: Trump opposition leader” related that Trump had a phone conversation with Senator Schumer and quoted Schumer "I said, 'Mr. President-elect, you went after both the Democratic and Republican establishments when you ran; you were an anti-establishment change candidate. But by your Cabinet picks and your early pronouncements, you seem to be embracing your timeworn, shop-worn hard right.'"

Putin Favored Trump Because Trump was in Putin’s Pockets. Trump is Lying to us.

Why did Trump obsess about the “rigged system”? Early on he knew that Putin was hacking the US election in Trump’s favor and he wanted to inoculate himself regarding the Russian hack of our election, which is the reason that many of his speeches contained ramblings about his love for WikiLeaks and asking for Clinton’s emails to be exposed.

Regarding the declassified intelligence report about the Russian hack of our election the article “Putin Ordered ‘Influence Campaign’ Aimed at U.S. Election, Report Says” states “American intelligence officials have concluded that the president of Russia, Vladimir V. Putin, personally “ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election,” and turned from seeking to “denigrate” Hillary Clinton to developing “a clear preference for President-elect Trump.”

The conclusions were part of a declassified intelligence report, ordered by President Obama, that was released on Friday. Its main determinations were described to Mr. Trump by the nation’s top intelligence officials earlier in the day, and he responded by acknowledging, for the first time, that Russia had sought to hack into the Democratic National Committee’s computer systems. But he insisted that the effort had no effect on the election, and he said nothing about the conclusion that Mr. Putin, at some point last year, decided to aid his candidacy…

The report makes clear that Mr. Putin favored Mr. Trump in part because he had previous success dealing with “Western political leaders whose business interests made them more disposed to deal with Russia”

Who will Trump favor—Putin, or us?

The article “How much money does The Trump Organization owe Russia and China?” states “In 2008, Donald Trump Jr. — the GOP nominee’s son and the VP for Development for The Trump Organization — told attendees at a real estate conference in New York City that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.” Americans need to know how much money has poured into The Trump Organization from Russia and from whom. Sergei Millian, the president of the U.S. Russian Chamber of Commerce and friend of Trump, claims in 2016 the figure is in the hundreds of millions.”

Trump has never released his taxes probably because he doesn’t want us to know how much he owns foreign countries, including Russia.

Trump wants to improve relations with Russia even after the declassified intelligence report about the Russian hack of our elections. Why—because Trump is a money-grubbing narcissist.

The article “Trump Says He Wants To ‘Work Together’ With Russia, Promises Improved Relations With Kremlin” states “Donald Trump says that Russia will have “far more” respect for the U.S. when he is president and that he plans to maintain a good relationship — perhaps even an alliance — with the Kremlin.

In a series of tweets sent out Saturday morning, Trump also slammed those who have been critical of improving relations with Russia, calling them “fools.”.

Will Trump lift Obama’s new sanctions on Russia? If Trump does give Putin a pass then we’ll know he’ll sell us out for a buck.

Trump’s Conflicts of Interests.

Trump has already cancelled one December 12th 2016 conference regarding his conflicts of interests. He is scheduled to discuss this matter on January 11th 2017. Who believes anything substantive will result?

The article “The Array of Conflicts of Interest Facing the Trump Presidency” states “Donald J. Trump’s global business empire will create an unprecedented number of conflicts of interest for a United States president, experts in legal ethics say.

Mr. Trump has said he will separate himself from his company before taking the oath of office, but he has not offered any details on how.

Ethics experts warn that if Mr. Trump puts his children in control of operations but continues to own the company, he will remain vulnerable to charges that his actions as president are guided by personal financial interests.”

Foxes Guarding the Hen House.

Trump’s cabinet nominations are abysmal. They either have stated that they want to abolish the department they are nominated for—think Rick Perry at the Energy Department, or have stances antithetical to their department—think Education Secretary: Betsy DeVos .

The article “Four Cabinet nominations that could blow up in Donald Trump’s face” lists Rex Tillerson: Secretary of state, Jeff Sessions: Attorney general, Steven Mnuchin: Treasury secretary and James Mattis: Defense secretary as problematic nominees. In addition to those what about Health and Human Services Secretary: Tom Price and EPA Administrator: Scott Pruitt? Price wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Pruitt has attacked President Obama’s environmental regulations, and wants to reduce climate protection measures.

Trump’s Repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

Trump’s voters didn’t take him literally, which makes you wonder what policies of his they supported. Did they think Trump would improve health care, or were they like Tea Partiers who wanted the government to shrink without a reduction of their Social Security and Medicare benefits, which of course is delusional?

The article “These coal country voters backed Trump. Now they’re worried about losing Obamacare.” states “During the primaries, Trump pointedly told fellow Republicans he would not allow people to “die on the street,” telegraphing that core difference once again. Trump also repeatedly vowed not to touch Medicare, explicitly holding this up as proof he is not ideologically aligned with Paul Ryan on the safety net. As David Leonhardt details, Trump repeatedly demonstrated an ideological willingness to embrace a role for government in expanding health care to, well, all Americans.

And so, if many Trump voters didn’t really believe they’d lose protections under President Trump, this was not a crazy calculation to make. Now, Trump and congressional Republicans may indeed end up rolling back protections for millions who voted for him. But if that happens, and these voters do end up feeling betrayed by Trump, they will be right to feel that way — they will, in fact, have been scammed by Trump.”

How will we Pay For the Wall that Trump Swore Mexico will pay for?

The article “Trump asking Congress, not Mexico, to pay for border wall” states “President-elect Donald Trump's transition team has signaled to congressional Republican leaders that his preference is to fund the border wall through the appropriations process as soon as April, according to House Republican officials.

The move would break a key campaign promise when Trump repeatedly said he would force Mexico to pay for the construction of the wall along the border, though in October, Trump suggested for the first time that Mexico would reimburse the US for the cost of the wall. “

Trump would say anything to get elected and his speeches always had the crowd chanting that Mexico would pay for the wall, usually around when they chanted “Lock her up” another slogan Trump has abandoned.

Trump is Threatening to Restructure the Intelligence Community.

The article “Are Trump And U.S. Intelligence Community Headed For A Showdown?” states “The director of national intelligence, James Clapper, recently noted that right now, America is "facing the most complex and diverse array of global threats that I've seen in my 53 years or so in the intel business."

Perhaps otherwise motivated intelligence officers with specialized skills will redirect their energies into other careers if they disagree with the direction of a Trump administration.”

How will Trump keep us safe with people leaving our intelligence community?

Trump is Asking Congress to Investigate the Media.

The article “Why the media can’t dismiss Trump’s call on Congress to investigate an NBC report” states “In short, the investigation Trump requested on Twitter is unlikely to materialize. Even if it did, NBC News almost certainly would be protected by the First Amendment, so long as its journalists did not commit a criminal act to obtain the information it published. The landmark Pentagon Papers case of 1971 set a clear legal precedent: News outlets can publish information, even if the source of the information broke the law by leaking it.”

The media has to do its job or the only information we will have is Putin’s fake news.

Trump is Ruining our Democratic Institutions and our Country.

Trump’s voters didn’t take him literally—think repeal Obamacare and Mexico paying for the wall, so whatever policies Trump vacillates to are the ones we are stuck with.

God help our country. In Trump we have a demagogue who is in Putin’s pockets and is following his example of brainwashing his citizens and destroying the media and the intelligence community.
