"Muelling" Around

A Fly on the Wall

Buzzy Brings Breakfast

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, August 6, 2017. Our friend, Buzzy, just flew by a French bakery and loaded up on buttery, flaky croissants for our enjoyment this morning. Please join Buzzy and me for a delightful meal and an update on the very busy Special Counsel Robert Mueller. We hope to see you soon. I'll leave the door open.

Is This Justice?

Thank you all for joining us this morning. I have been flying around the country trying to get a handle on what is happening in our nation. Clearly, Robert Mueller feels he is on the right side of the law, but many people and bugs, such as myself, are not so sure. Clearly, he is on a mission to dig up something, anything, that links this president and his administration to Russia. If President Trump prefers Russian dressing on his salad, he could be indicted! The president is under siege and so are all those Americans who voted for him.

This week we learned that Mueller has impaneled two grand juries to look into the "Russia" matter. It will be up to these people to decide if criminal charges should be filed. The grand jury probe could go on forever. They can investigate and look into "things" until the cows come home, and through it all the Trump administration is going to try to continue to keep the promises that were made. The media will have a field day with this one. They were collectively rubbing their "dirty" hands together waiting for something juicy to come along. I have no doubt that the grand juries will satisfy their cravings for blood, Trump blood. Those chosen to serve are tasked with getting to the bottom of this mess, a mess that was created by the Democrats and the media to derail this presidency. I have no doubt the Mueller believes he is on the right side of the law, but his investigation is not without bias. Let's remember that he is close friend of James Comey. Let's also keep in mind that his "team" of attorneys is comprised of many people who contributed to Clinton's campaign. These two facts do not fill me with confidence about this "investigation." In fact, this Russia business has been looked at for months and months and, thus far, there is nothing that suggests that Trump and his team did anything improper. The same cannot be said of the Clintons, but Mueller isn't interested in them.

Our To-Do List

Obstruction of Hope

Those who elected Donald Trump, did so because they liked his vision for America. Those who elected Donald Trump envisioned a future for themselves, their loved ones and their nation, filled with promise for a better future. When President Trump speaks about "making America great again" he is speaking for ordinary citizens who want jobs, lower taxes, safety and affordable health care. I hope that Mueller remembers that most Americans are invested in seeing President Trump's promises come to fruition. Speaking for me, If I could, I would end this witch hunt, dismiss the grand juries and let this administration get to work. Robert Mueller and his team are dancing in the dark, hoping to bump into a crime. The only crime President Trump is guilty of so far is being Donald Trump.

Coup D'etat?

I can't help but feel that we have been witnessing a coup d'etat since President Trump came into office. The media is a participant, the Dems are big players and now we see that some Republicans are part of the cabal wishing that our president would just go away. Thankfully, this is America and we are not going to see militia marching in the streets and attacking the regime. What we are seeing is a slow and building ugliness that has invaded our government and its institutions. Lying is almost acceptable. Fake news is believed by those who already had hate in their hearts, and entrenched politicians on both sides of the aisle would rather see President Trump fail than see America succeed. Somehow all these leakers and liars have to be held accountable. If Special Counsel Mueller is in search of a crime he should look to the media, the Clintons, the Obamas, Loretta Lynch, Congress and branches of government that play by their own rules. He has a target rich environment, but he has set his sights on Donald Trump, and that is the worst crime of all.

Buzzy's Song

Fly me to the moon

And let me live where I am free

Things are quite ugly now

We may be up a tree!

      Good Morning MrManifest,

President Trump deserves a chance to fulfill his promises. All this obstruction and resistance is nauseating.

what i just feel about everything's happening is it's uncertainty, maybe Trump will do good, or maybe he won't, to those who say he's too bad and will do worse, no one in the position will even do different to what he's done or what he'll do

      Dear Will,

I don't think anything will stop those determined to see him fail. Dems are now saying that should just wait, try to screw everything up as best they can, and take over when they win it all. To me that's criminal. The deck is stacked against Trump, and his fellow Reps are part of the problem. Loyalty is dead. Caring about the nation and its citizens is dead. Washington is worse than a swamp, and draining it has to be complete. If that happens the place will be empty, which is for the best. I would prefer to hear emptiness echoing in the halls of Congress than fools like Maxine Waters. See you at the Inn.

President Trump can simply wait and if it becomes obvious that he and/or his administration is the target of a witch hunt, go on prime time TV and announce that he is issuing blanket pardons to anyone and everyone involved (unless they really are criminals) so that the investigation is dead.

If he does it and also explains that it is necessary to stop the obvious prog-lib attempt to undermine the presidency, the Americans who voted for him will stand by him.

      Good Morning Pino,

In today's world, the media gets to lie with impunity, people like Lois Lerner take the 5th and walk, and people like Mueller get to tie up our money and our progress. The one thing missing in all of this is "us." See you at the Inn. I'll save you and maven a seat.

      Good Morning maven,

I wanted to add to my comment, which I almost don't understand! We are all impacted by Congress. Your son and his family are a perfect example. My kids have insurance, but it isn't great because they are restricted in terms of doctors they can see. I am concerned about taxes, the future of Social Security, our safety and the intense level of anti Trump rhetoric. I can't believe theses fools in Congress believe they deserve a vacation. Tell me, what are they vacationing from? See you at the Inn.

      Good Morning Lori,

I too understand where billy is coming from, but I just can't ignore what is happening nationally. If all that I try to do isn't making a difference, at least I get to vent! See you at the Inn.

      POP and Buzzy:

the issue with special prosecutors is that they need to justify their existence, which means that they need to find something. Mueller cannot find anything to do with Russia, so he has expanded the search, Our tax dollars are being spent trying to find anything on Trump, Why was this not done for Clinton or Obama??????

What is sickening is the media is making this the issue.

Since when does the media dictate what issues are the news of the day.

I am off to the Inn. Need to talk to you and Maven.......

If our legislators and other high people in high places would spend more time working (as they're paid to do) instead of head hunting and blood letting, we might have a great nation. It's sad that everything is so negative and vitriolic. Congress and the Senate get different health insurance from the masses, including those who defend Obamacare, and they consistently give themselves raises. Billy is right in that this kind of political climate and goings on are nothing new under the sun, but that doesn't mean we should ignore it. I get that it's stressful and seems futile, but we must never give up. I get try to participate in local things, it's very important, but there is more we can do. If only everyone would try to work toward answers and solutions rather than fighting. No longer do we see enough "For the people and by the people," it's really "For our party and by our party," and even worse, "For me and by me."

      Dear maven,

Something awful has taken hold of many of our citizens. Frankly, I am having a problem accepting the stupidity of all of it. For me it is simple, do we want to solve our problems or are we more invested in winning." I love this country, and I want to win. See you at the Inn, maven

I don't know about Billy, but the failure of congress to accomplish anything meaningful does and is impacting Americans that are working just as hard as Billy to improve their communities...Tell my son that he is not being impacted by congress's failure to do something about Obamacare when his insurance premiums for his family of 4 has increased ten-fold and his options for other insurance companies have been cut in half...And, more to the point of your excellent Hub, why has Mueller so studiously avoided the obviously corrupt Clintons, and the equally incompetent puppets, Lynch and Holder? Perhaps someone should be looking into Mueller's assets ....

I would love to impanel those Grand Juries in the Inn and have them listen to America's heartbeat rather than the frenetic accusations burbling out of the DC swamp/sewer...

See you at the Inn, Pop..I see the USS Constitution has arisen and is now in Boston Harbor which I think is near you...Long live "Ironsides" and all the fine men that have served her.......

      Dear billy,

You have made a great life for yourself in a wonderful community. I passed a house the other day that made me think of you. The entire front yard was filled with vegetables and flowers. I have to say it made me smile, and it made perfect sense. Enjoy the day, billy.

You know what I love? There is no massive ugliness where I live. We have people working to build a healthy community, at the ground level. Yes, there is ugliness in D.C.....here's a news flash for you...there always has been. I've chosen to work towards a healthier community here. I leave the lying and bitching to those in D.C. with nothing better to do but collect their under-the-table bribes, and that pretty much includes all of Congress.

      Good Morning Tom,

How right you are and the right word is "unlimited." This could go on and on and on, detracting from all the work that needs to be done. This is a period in our history that is shameful. See you at the Inn, Tom.

      Pop and Buzzy,

The appointment of a special "Persecutor" (not misspelled) was the purpose of the Russian Collusion lie to begin with. The ability for this intruder to plow into uncharted fields hoping to strike Democrat Gold is uncalled for and sadly, unlimited.
