IB student, Model United Nations enthusiast, book worm, Biology nerd… Like everyone I have a lot of roles to play but at the end everything comes down to only one thing: Being a global citizen!
At the age of 16 I moved from Germany to Denmark and joined the international school in Nyborg, where I am currently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, an international high school programme for students between 16 and 19 years. For me, the IB means to be constantly challenged and confronted with “food for thought”. However, working with students from all over the world is truly fulfilling and shows me every single day that the IB is worth the pain connected to long hours of assignments and homework.
I further invest a lot of time in our school’s Model United Nations organization. As the Vice-president I am amongst other things responsible of preparing students we send to other schools to simulate the real United Nations and debate different political issues. If I have time left, I am further going to karate or am working on my blog about the IB programme.
